Uranium miners, millers, and ore transporters may also be eligible if illness resulted from exposure to toxic substances (radiation, chemicals, solvents, acids, or metals) at a covered site. Eligibility varies by condition and worksite.

Border DME does not determine eligibility for EEOICPA or RECA benefits. Eligibility is determined solely by the U.S. Department of Labor. Border DME is not an Authorized Representative and cannot file claims on a patient's behalf.
